Spicy Brown Sugar Bacon is a mixture of cayenne pepper, brown sugar topping sprinkled over strips of bacon in a single layer and baked.
Have you every had Pig Candy? If you have not, you are missing the highlight of eating bacon. When I first heard about this recipe over at Mommy's Kitchen, I thought why?
Then I made my first batch, and that is all it took for me to say WOW! That is the reaction I get every time I take it somewhere, as it was at a recent get together with my high school classmates along with these Shrimp Stuffed Eggs.
It is the combination of the salty and sweet together with the heat of the red pepper flakes that makes it explode in your mouth. There are endless possibilities for this recipe. Tonight we are eating a Pig Candy, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich, that I will post later.
