My Time Away from Cooking With K

9:14 AM

I just wanted to let you know that I have been taking a break from my blog due to the extended illness of my husband. He is still in the hospital following two colon surgeries in April. With rehab, he is expected to be on his way to a full recovery. Thank you all for all your kindness and prayers during this long journey we are on.

I can't wait to be back cooking for my husband and posting some of my great recipes that "Bring friends and family together with food from my childhood recipes to today"!

  8. Great recipes. I'm getting hungry just looking at them. I just had a fiber bar and a glass of milk. Didn't really satisfy me. I will try some of these great looking recipes. I think I will try the baked asparagus first. Doylene

  10. Katy ~ It is so good to hear from you! My husband is 3 weeks out from another surgery. The good thing is that he is now in rehab and on his way to a full recovery...Praise The Lord!! These days have been the hardest days I have ever lived, but the Lord has shown Himself strong to us through all of them. I am enjoying ALL of your wonderful recipes...have them in my to make file! Hopefully, it will not be too long before my Hunny Bunches is enjoying eating my cooking again!! It has been too long in coming.....Blessing, K
