Triple, Berry Cobbler, ripe juicy berries topped with a layer, yellow cake mix, sprite and melted butter. All the attributes of a lazy day cobbler!
This wonderfully delicious Triple Berry Cobbler has all the attributes of a lazy day cobbler.
I took this one to our Sunday Life Group gathering, and no one could believe how easy it was to make. It is so easy and quick to make, and you can almost make it in your sleep. All it is, is a bag of frozen triple berries (strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries), one yellow cake mix, 6 ounces of sprite, and a stick of butter.
You just start making it by layering all the ingredients as listed. How easy can that be? Lazy Easy!

There are some that make this on the lighter side by using a no sugar added cake mix, diet sprite, and leaving off the butter. And it also can be made gluten free by using a gluten free cake mix and still use the butter. The possibilities are endless!
Triple Berry Cobber
Ingredients:
- 32 ounce bag frozen triple berries (strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries)
- 1 18 oz. box yellow cake mix (I use a yellow butter cake mix)
- 6 ounces sprite
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a oblong baking dish, spread out the berries evenly. Sprinkle cake mix over the berries. Pour sprite evenly over the cake mix.
Pour butter evenly over the cake mix. Bake for 1 hour or until the cake mix is done and golden brown. Serve warm.
Note: May substitute cake mix for sugar free or gluten free. The butter can be left off and substituted for another 6 ounces of sprite.
