Patriotic White Trash, a snack mix with Crispix cereal, pretzels, red, white, and blue peanut M&Ms and generously coated with almond bark. Keeping it simple and looking rich!
If you are looking for the p-e-r-f-e-c-t addicting snack mix, you have come to the right place. Ha! Ha!
My family can not and I mean can not stop eating this stuff. It is sweet salty and crunchy at the same time. Did I say perfectly addicting?
All the elements you want in a yummy snack.
Let's talk a little bit about how easy and quick it is to make. It takes only 4 ingredients and only takes 15 minutes to make.
I always make my trash mix with Crispix cereal. A lot of people use Rice Chex cereal or Corn Chex cereal, but in case you didn't know, Crispix cereal is rice on one side and corn on the other side. The combination of both rice and corn together gives a terrific flavor combo in the trash mix.
To make it go faster, I have the Crispix cereal, pretzels, and M&Ms in a bowl ready for the melted almond bark. When evenly coated, I pour it out on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
