WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THE RECIPE
- Stockpot to cook macaroni
- Colander
- Large deep cast iron skillet or a heavy gauge bottom skillet
- Large stirring spoon
- Elbow macaroni
- Hamburger
- Onion
- Bacon
- Milk
- Cheese
- Cornstarch
- Salt
- Montreal Steak Steaking
- Ketchup
- Worcheshire sauce
THE PROCESS OF MAKING BACON DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER SKILLET
- First, cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions, drain them in a colander and set aside.
- Shred the cheese, set aside.
- While the macaroni is cooking start cooking the bacon, drain, and chop in bite size pieces. (I cook my bacon in the oven)
- While macaroni is cooking and bacon is in the oven cooking, start browning the hamburger in a deep cast iron skillet. Season with salt and Montreal Steak Seasoning.
- When the hamburger is cooked, drain well and return to the skillet and add the onion. Cook until the onions are transparent, not overcooking.
- Add the cornstarch and stir incorporating in the hamburger mixture. The mixture should be crumbly.
- Turn the heat to low and add the milk, Worcheshire Sauce, and ketchup, stirring until all is combined and thickening.
- Add the drained macaroni and stir until all is combined. Stir in bacon and 3/4 of the shredded cheese until all is combined.
- Remove from the heat and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Serve warm.

12 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions and drained
8 slices of bacon cooked, cut into bite size pieces
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef (90/10 or less)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasonings
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2-3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 3/4 cups milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices of bacon cooked, cut into bite size pieces

NOTES:
Your favorite pasta may be substituted for the macaroni. Beef broth may be substituted for the milk. We love the following ingredients as toppings when served: Chopped tomatoes Minced garlic Minced jalapenos Chopped pickles Tablespoon mayonnaise Tablespoon mustard
