Patriotic Cheesecake Berry Parfaits are a perfect dessert for summer and cookouts with extreme layers of yumminess.
CHEESECAKE PARFAITS
The parfait starts with a spoonful of leftover cheesecake, fresh berries, yogurt, and berry jelly. Don't forget to top it off with a generous spoonful of granola. Did I mention these are extreme?
Are you looking for an easy and quick no-bake dessert for the summer? Try these Extreme Patriotic Cheesecake Parfaits.
I used some leftover cheesecake I had in the refrigerator to spoon into the bottom of the jars.
The cheesecake was store bought, but homemade would be fabulous also. I put the spoonful of cheesecake at the bottom to create that anticipation of extreme yumminess.
Then, I followed with a layer of fresh berries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. So good.
I like to spoon a little of your favorite berry jelly, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, or raspberry over the fruit to add a little more sweetness to the taste.
This can be optional if you prefer, but I recommend keeping with the extreme yumminess.
The next layer is a dollop of your favorite unflavored Greek yogurt.
For this recipe and parfaits in general, it is better to use Greek yogurt versus regular yogurt.
Top it off with a few more berries or sweetened granola.
We add red, white, and blue nonpareil sprinkles for a patriotic flair.
The Extreme Patriotic Cheesecake Parfaits holds up really well in the refrigerator for five days.
We enjoy these all summer long.

HOW TO MAKE EXTREME PATRIOTIC CHEESECAKE PARFAITS
Layer the parfaits, starting with the cheesecake. Scoop two tablespoons of cheesecake, grabbing the graham crust as well, and place it in the bottom of each of the glass jars.
Arrange a layer of berries on top of the cheesecake. Place a blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and slice of strawberry evenly across. (The amount of each one is up to you. I usually do 1 blackberry, 2 blueberries, 2 raspberries, and a slice or two of the strawberries.)
Spoon a tablespoon of jelly over the layer of fruit. (I spooned 4 each of the blackberry, 4 each of the blueberry, 4 each of the raspberry, and 4 each of the strawberry.
Spoon two tablespoons of Greek yogurt over the jelly layer.
Top off the parfait with more berries and jelly or a generous spoonful of granola. This is optional.
