How To Cook A Whole Bone In Ham
A Whole Bone-in Ham recipe is so simple, with no glaze, no clove studding, and no fuss. It uses the low and slow cooking method and a blast of high heat at the end to caramelize the outside. The results are excellent, juicy, tender, and with superb flavor. WHOLE BONE IN HAM With so many varieties of hams in grocery stores today, it can be daunting to know how to cook one. I share secrets for buying, preparing, and cooking the juiciest ham ever. A whole bone in ham is the most effortless meat to cook for a holiday meal. Preparation is equally as easy. A whole ham is larger than needed for a regular meal but perfect for a large gathering or save and have for those wonderful leftover ham recipes. Most hams you buy are fully cooked, and all you do is score the ham and, if you want, add a simple glaze. My family prefers the natural juices from the ham to baste the ham instead of a glaze. By scoring a diamond pattern in the ham into the fat and skin, being sure not to get into the me

Old School Sloppy Joes Recipe Is Still The Best!
The Old School Sloppy Joes Recipe is still the best, consisting of ground beef, onions, tomato sauce or ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and other spices. The simplest version has stood the test of time, d-lish! The name of this beloved sandwich gets it honest. They are as tasty as they are sloppy. The name comes from piling so much meat sauce on a giant hamburger bun, a tiny slider bun, or between two slices of your favorite bread that you cannot help but need a napkin. Curry Chicken Salad is the perfect salad to serve at a baby shower, brunch, or an afternoon tea. It is a popular salad for entertaining. My daughter adores this recipe. I am continuing the post from last week on my daughter's favorite food we served at her baby shower. You may have seen the picture on Facebook announcing the arrival of my newest grandson. I love being a Grandma! This salad is so versatile to serve. It can be served cold on a bed of lettuce with crackers…wrapped in a flour tortilla…or serve it on croissants like we did at my daughter's baby shower. Baked Texas Style Chili Dogs {Granny's Recipe Revisited}
When I was in high school, I remember my mother would make these Baked Texas Style Chili Dogs sometimes on Friday nights just before we went to the football game. This was a quick way to serve chili dogs without having to set out all of the fixings, and clean up is quick. What I like most about them is when they come out of the oven, the bun is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside along with the hot dog and chili. They are so yummy good! I made these with some of my Blue Ribbon 8-Hour Chili and served them for a quick Sunday lunch. We had some leftover, and I cut them in half and served them as mini chili dogs at our Life Group Meeting Sunday evening. They were a great hit with the children.

Ham & Cheese Sliders {Ideal Party Food}
The Super Bowl is coming up and what better slider to serve at your Super Bowl Party than these Ham and Cheese Sliders . Here is how easy they are to make---assemble the sandwich, drizzle the sauce and heat them in the oven until the cheese is melted--how easy it that? Sometimes I make the sandwiches up in the morning and put them in the refrigerator. Just hold drizzling the sauce until ready to bake. The buttery mustard poppy seed sauce is what puts these sliders over the top. Yummy yummy! You don't have to wait for a get together, or party to make these. I made these with some leftover ham we had at Christmas for a quick supper. If I were you, I wouldn't wait for the Super Bowl to make yours. (giggles)

Jalapeno Burger {Every Bite Has A Kick}
I have been seeing on the commercial for Burger King this wonderful Jalapeno Burger , and I wanted to create one myself. You pretty much just take your hamburger meat and season it with your favorite seasonings and add chopped jalapenos. Depending on how hot you like your food, when you pick out your jalapenos, you should pick the ones that are short and fat for a lot of heat and the longer ones for a milder heat. I found this out when I made these burgers, and although they were delicious, for my taste, they could have been a little hotter. At the end of when you take a bite of the burger, you have that wonderful heat that ends up in the back of your mouth. That to me is a perfect bite with some kick to it.
