Very Simplistic Bread Pudding {Granny's Recipe}
My Mother always cooked exceptionally great food with few ingredients, and her Very Simplistic Bread Pudding was no exception. OLD FASHIONED SOUTHERN BREAD PUDDING There are no special ingredients or fussy techniques to make bread pudding. This is a dessert that was born out of hard times to use every little bit of leftover bread. And has become a beloved dessert of the South. Growing up, I never thought of this dessert as a no-frills dessert, just a delicious, comforting dessert that makes you look forward to leftover rolls, breakfast toast, and any stale bread in the bread box.

Napa Cabbage and Leeks
Do you want a new side dish that is easy and quick? My husband is a big fan of cabbage. and I try to make it as often as I can. He loves Cole Slaw, Cabbage Rolls, Sauteed Cabbage; you name it, and if it has cabbage in it, he is happy. It is fairly inexpensive and easy to cook as a side dish or added to a main dish.

Apple Walnut Zucchini Bread
Apple Walnut Zucchini Bread is easy to make. It uses grated zucchini and apples for a delicious breakfast, brunch, or afternoon coffee. ZUCCHINI APPLE WALNUT BREAD This delicious quick bread will soon become your favorite treat and a perfect way to use up all the zucchini growing in your garden. Quick Bread is one of the first things that I learned to make in my first year of Home Economics. I have to say, Home Economics was always my favorite class in high school, and interestingly enough, that class has undergone numerous name and status changes since then. Like the cooking part---the class I took is now totally separate and called Culinary Arts Class. Historically, the class was mostly women, but with the surge in the culinary field, that has changed.

Grandma's Slumber Night Party 2011
The time has come around for our Grandma's Slumber Night Party we have each year. This year I think the grandchildren were extra excited to get together since we were not able to have one last year because of Grandpa's illness. For me, it is the highlight of the year. We have different crafts, each one makes their own individual dinner, and then we watch a movie that makes us all laugh. Our theme is always God centered and full of fun! 2011 Grandma's Slumber Night Party He Is The Light Of The World...John 3:12 One of the crafts this year was making Stain Glass Votives. Some tissue paper, glue, a votive holder and a brush are all you'll need - and the variations are endless. Over the years I kept tissue paper from various gifts. As you can see, they turned out so cute! We talked about how the Lord is the light of the world and how He wants us to shine His light so others can see the Lord in them. How wonderfu...
