Classic Spinach Dip, a flavorful, creamy, quick and easy dip made with sour cream, mayonnaise, water chestnuts, green onions and the star...chopped spinach.
I have been anticipating the birth of my ninth grandchild these past months. There is nothing sweeter than getting ready for a bundle of joy to arrive.
In June, a group of ladies gave a baby shower for my daughter. She asked me to join in on the planning and the coordinating of the food. I had an idea of what her favorite foods are and wanted to incorporate as many of them as I could to make it special for her.
One of my daughter's favorite party food is Classic Spinach Dip. She adores this dip.
It is such a classic.
First introduced in the late 70's on the back of a package of Knorr's Vegetable Soup Mix. After all these years this dip is still the Perfect Party Dip!
Have you ever tried this dip? My daughter, Jennifer has been making this dip for years and turned me on to the recipe.
This dip is so easy to put together. If you have time to make it the day before the flavors intensify.
I love taking a dish somewhere, and everyone falls in love with it ready to take the recipe home with them.
I just tell them to look on the back of the Knorr's Vegetable Soup Mix package, and you are set.
The ingredients are easy to find in the store, frozen spinach, mayonnaise, sour cream, water chestnuts, and green onions along with the soup mix.
Next time when you need a perfect party dip, I hope you remember this dip recipe! Enjoy!
